Donna Walker, BSc, FIAA
General Manager, Claims & Chief Actuary
Donna is the General Manager of Claims and Chief Actuary. Prior to her current role, Donna was General Manager of Technical Services.
Since joining CGU in 1999, Donna has been involved in a numerous areas of the business, including pricing frameworks, reinsurance projects, performance monitoring and financial reporting, information delivery and expense analysis.
Prior to joining CGU, Donna spent three years lecturing at the University of Melbourne in the Centre for Actuarial Studies and held various roles in the superannuation industry, managing client relationships and agreeing services and strategies for a portfolio of corporate clients.
Donna is actively involved with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (IAAust), helping to establish new education programs. She served as a member of the IAAust Council for three years from 2000 - 2002.
