Our Criteria
The Community Engagement Program (CEP) seeks to actively involve our staff in supporting community groups and charities through effective workplace giving, fundraising and volunteer days. Our criteria for engagement is that these community groups or charities:
• Should fit into one of our core categories: health/medical, the disadvantaged, animal welfare or environment
• Must be a tax deductible gift recipient
• Must have national coverage
• Must meet the CEP’s guiding principle (refer below)
• Must focus on Australian causes rather than overseas
The Community Engagement Program’s Guiding Principle is:
"To provide a helping hand to our Australian community that goes beyond our insurance services - offering support to the ill, the disabled and disadvantaged while advancing the wellbeing of our environment."
