CGU supporting customers impacted by Cyclone Ului

CGU Insurance has mobilised claims response teams to support customers impacted by Cyclone Ului that hit Far North Queensland over the weekend of 21/22 March.
Ben Bessell, General Manager Claims, said the company’s claims team was working hard to ensure customers were helped as soon as possible.
“Our people are speaking with customers about any immediate needs they may have. We expect to continue receiving claims over the coming weeks,” he said.
“We continue to urge impacted customers who have not yet lodged a claim to make immediate contact with our 24-hour claims service line on 1800 252 461, or to speak with their insurance broker or adviser.
“We have sent claims staff to Proserpine and Mackay to support our customers impacted by this event.
“CGU Claims people will be located at the Canegrowers Building in Mackay (120 Wood Street, Mackay) from today and at the Canegrowers Building in Proserpine (88 Main Street, Proserpine) from Wednesday.”
