Any CGU customer who needs to make a claim should contact our 24-hour claims service line as soon as possible on 1800 252 461, or speak with their insurance adviser.
Having the following information to hand will help us lodge your claim as quickly as possible:
- Your policy number
- The contact name and phone number of the person holding the policy
- A loss description
- Details of the location where the loss occurred
- Details of any property damaged.
The CGU office in Grey St, Brisbane has now reopened and all phone lines are active - all other CGU regional branches remain open.
Please note, customers in other areas of the country may experience some delays in our normal business as our staff support those impacted in Queensland.
