CGU is running an exciting competition to find the writer and star of its next television advertising campaign, with the winner walking away with up to $25,000 plus the opportunity to have their CGU advert made for television.
CGU’s Give Yourself a Rap competition runs from 3 August 2009 until 11 September 2009 and requires you to produce a 30 second video about yourself or your business highlighting the value of insurance – that’s home, motor, farm, business or workers’ compensation insurance.
The video needs to be in the ‘rap’ style of the recent CGU television commercials featuring ‘Bill the alpaca farmer’ and ‘Susan the providore’, and all entries must close with the CGU jingle “Whoever you are, whatever you do, we put the U in CGU”.
You will find all you need to know about this fantastic competition including backing music and the CGU jingle at www.cgurap.com.au. You will also be able to rate your favourite entry to go into the Top 10 finalists.
The winner will be announced on 26 September. They will receive $20,000 plus their idea will be used in the next CGU TV campaign. They will also receive an additional bonus of $5,000 if they are a CGU policyholder – that’s $25,000!
So, grab a video camera, sharpen a pencil and get cracking. The competition closes on 11 September. Why not check out the competition website at www.cgurap.com.au and give yourself a rap!
