Whoever you are, whatever you do: Meet Susan the providore and Bill the alpaca farmer!

CGU's new national television and radio advertising campaign features two great characters showing how 'We put the You in CGU'.

The campaign highlights the lighter side of insurance while illustrating the comprehensive range of products we offer - we have the right insurance to meet your needs.

CGU is a leading commercial and personal lines insurer, Australia's largest regional and rural insurer and the country's largest workers' compensation provider. We are proud of our almost 150-year heritage of helping Australians in their time of need.

One of the television ads features alpaca farmer Bill rapping about his insurance cover:

"Shearing these buggers is not for the sheepish, the clippers alone are not exactly cheapish. My insurance bloke got me covered with the best, so my wife's knitting him an alpaca vest!"

The second is in a gourmet delicatessen, showing Susan the 'providore' rapping about the quality of her truffle oil and brie and how she also only chooses the finest insurance too - for her business, her staff and herself.

"I look for the finest, the freshest, the pure. And it's just the same when I want to insure."

There are also 10 radio ads where owners of different SME business types rap about their insurance cover in a similar humorous way.

The campaign finishes with the 'Whoever you are, whatever you do, We put the You in CGU' tagline we have been using for almost 10 years.
